I ordered an Iced caramel mocha and a strawberry pie on the mobile app. I didn’t get the pie and the coffee wasn’t right. And it took forever.
This place is an absolute joke. Three people standing behind the counter, looking at me with the deer in the headlights look when I walk up, like they'd never seen a customer before. One girl started taking my order at one register, then two other employees take over at a different register. Listened to one of the front workers yell at a cook for a couple of minutes because he couldn't figure out that one 10 pack of chicken nuggets didn't equal 20 chicken nuggets. Finally get my food and get where I'm going with it, the burger patties are overdone, burgers see slapped together haphazardly with condiments all over the place, and the chicken nuggets are old and chewy, like they've been in the warmer bin for hours. If you support $15 per hour wage for fast food employees, go to this McDonald's, it will cure you of that belief very quickly.
The service was slow and the food was awful and very poorly put together. I wish I had taken a picture of mine and my husbands burgers. The fries had a weird taste. I compared it to tasting like they had been cooked with fish, my husband said it tasted like they had been cooked in old grease. My family usually eats McDonald's a few times a week and this was by far the worst food I've ever had. Overheard the manager taking a complaint over the phone to which was no surprise. We stopped in on a road trip and will remember to never use that location again.
I stopped for gas off of I-75 on a Thursday afternoon and went into this McDonald's because it was conveniently connected to the gas station. I was the second person in line and we both stood at the register for several minutes while several employees milled about behind the counter seeming confused about what they should be doing. Nobody came to the register or acknowledged that we were waiting. When I heard someone yell to the grill cook "scrape the cheese off these and toss them pickles back on 'em" I decided it was time to go elsewhere. I went to the Sonic next door, which was much cleaner, friendlier, and faster.
Great clean place to go and eat. The food is cheap and the kids love it. There is a convenient store attached also with a gas station in case u need other things. They usually try and keep up with both stores well. Better than some of the places I see around on the mountain.
