We went tonight a Friday night. We arrived around 5pm. There was only chicken for a meat and a few veggies. The food was cold. The Mac n Cheese was obviously Kraft Mac n Cheese. There was barely any chicken. The bread was so dried out you could barely eat it. The service was terrible. When we complained she acted like she didn't care. We will never go back.
True down home cooking! Reminds me of my great grandmother! Even the iced tea. This is not trendy or fast food, it is old time home cooked food. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. I ate off the buffet, they had a nice selection of fresh salad and toppings. EVERYTHING on the hot side was cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. The food is moderately priced, but you definitely get your money's worth. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys real food.
Could use more curtious staff for sure. The food they have is good but could do better with a wider variety of meats and veggies and keeping it fresher and warmer...
What a great little spot to find. They had a great country style buffet aside the menu items and a very welcoming feeling with a strong energy coming from a Harley in the dining area. As a Google guide I'd give this place a 10/10 road treasure rating!
The place was so empty on a Friday night I had to call and make sure they were even open. The place is pretty clean, a few flies buzzing, and the restaurant was unfortunately as warm as the pasta salad. Then we were greeted by the guy restocking the buffet who seconds earlier was digging in his butt crack with his bare hands. Not too great of a first impression. I'll change it to one start if the food poisoning hits me.
